Education and Training
Our dedicated and experienced staff can offer educational classes ranging from basic IT skills to recognised qualifications.
Our therapy programmes range from sit and be fit exercise classes, music therapy, sensory therapy, pamper sessions and many more. Please see our weekly planner for inspiration.
Day Centre Services
Northeast Disabilities Resource Centre is a brand new 2 storey purpose-built day care centre in the heart of Sunderland. For those of you who are a bit more academically minded we are really excited to be able to offer educational training ranging from basic
IT skills to vocational qualifications.
We are also going to be offering a range of recreational activities including Arts and Crafts, Drama Group, Cookery Skills & Sit N B Fit exercise classes.
Our Holiday Lodge
Did you know? We have a beautiful lodge set by the lakeside at the award winning Haggerston castle in Northumberland. The Lodge is fully accessible with overhead ceiling tracking hoists and all modern amenities including Wi-Fi *
Holiday passes are also included to keep you entertained throughout your stay. You can tailor your holiday to suit your needs with as much or as little support you require.
Personal Assistance
NDRC can offer a one-to-one service or within a small group for individuals to attend social gatherings, their chosen hobbies and interests, assistance with shopping and cleaning.
Whatever your needs we will try and support you to achieve them. This service can be done privately or through the local authority as an assessed need.
Supported Living
We have some amazing purpose built one and two bedroom bungalows that are fully accessible and complete with assistive technology. This will allow you to maintain your independence whilst having support from staff to develop your confidence and skills further
We are registered with CQC and comply with all regulated activities and work in partnership with Sunderland local authority
