Activities
At Northeast Disabilities Resource Centre (NDRC) we provide a wide range of activities for our members. These include educational, recreational and social activities as well as fun based and exercise based provision. We will always try to accommodate activities that members prefer.
ACTIVITIES AT NDRC
Here is an example of some of our activities on a weekly basis:
Monday: Gardening, Cookery, Arts & Crafts, Social Outings, Games i.e. bingo, keep the ball up and many more and Computer Skills
Tuesday: Gardening, Pampering, Cookery, Arts & Crafts, Social Outings and Computer Skills
Wednesday: Drama, Bingo, Cookery, Arts & Crafts, Social Outings, Gardening and Computer Skills
Thursday: Exercise Class, Machinist Training i.e sewing, Bingo, Cookery, Arts & Crafts, Social Outings, Gardening and Computer Skills
Friday: Pampering, Prepping for events i.e. Easter, Valentines Day and Christmas, Board Games, Bingo, Cookery, Arts & Crafts, Social Outings, Gardening and Computer Skills
And many many more, also offered is a PA service which is a one to one service which can range from companionship, assisting with appointments, grocery shopping, outings, going for a mean or what the individual may request.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Our dedicated and experienced staff can offer educational classes ranging from basic IT skills to recognised qualifications.
DAY CENTRE SERVICES
Northeast Disabilities Resource Centre is a brand new 2 storey purpose-built day care centre in the heart of the City of Sunderland.
OUR HOLIDAY LODGE
Did you know? We have a beautiful lodge set by the lakeside at the award winning Haggerston castle in Northumberland.
PERSONAL ASSISTANCE
NDRC can offer a one-to-one service or within a small group for individuals to attend social gatherings, their chosen hobbies...
SUPPORTED LIVING
We have some amazing purpose built one and two bedroom bungalows that are fully accessible and complete with assistive technology.
