The centre is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. We offer educational courses with qualified tutors, individual hobbies and interests, or an opportunity to socialise with your friends. We want our members to enjoy their time spent with us.

The standard rate for daycare is £72.46 per day. However, the care received depends on assessed needs and for some, a specialised tailored support plan may need to be offered.

The centre is for people with physical and learning disabilities. Several of our members have Cerebral Palsy. We also have places for people with associated disabilities.

Financial support can be given for assessed needs in the way of a personal budget. You can contact your Social Worker if you have one and discuss possible financial support with them, or depending on your needs there are other people who can provide grants towards care support. Transport is available on an assessed need basis. We do our best to provide transport but that may not always be possible for the days that you may wish to attend the centre. Information on this subject can be obtained by contacting the centre on 0191 5659206.

We offer personal support for a wide range of needs including bathroom support, lunch support, P.E.G Feeding, medication support, support in reaching your social needs and individual chosen activities.

Lunch is not provided at the centre

The centre is open to people aged 18 and over.

Care staff are trained to have their care certificate as a minimum.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Our dedicated and experienced staff can offer educational classes ranging from basic IT skills to recognised qualifications.

We have some amazing purpose built one and two bedroom bungalows that are fully accessible and complete with assistive technology.
